A native Memphian, Darren Jackson is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he earned a degree in economics. He founded Worldwide Business Forms in 1996 to provide distribution of custom printed business forms, computer supplies and paper products to major corporations in the Memphis metropolitan area. Major clients counted among Worldwide Business Forms' customer base are Federal Express, Nike and the University of Memphis. In 1999, Mr. Jackson founded Worldwide Signs, Inc., a manufacturer of custom computerized signs. Worldwide Signs does business as the American Sign Shops, a retail establishment located in East Memphis. Jackson currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Worldwide Business Group, a holding company of various operating subsidiaries and joint ventures. Under his leadership, the company opened its first manufacturing operation, Worldwide Label and Packaging, in McCory, Arkansas, to manufacture pressure sensitive and non-pressure sensitive labels, prime labels, industrial labels, folding carton products and business forms for Fortune 100 companies.
