In 1988, Frazer Windless started A1 Printing Service, Inc., with the purchase of $500 antique press and a small backyard incubator.  Today, it has become the largest minority-owned commercial printing company in the Mid-South.  A1 presently employs 21 employees and has the capacity to produce $3.0 millions in sales annually.   In 1995, A1 Printing Service, Inc., received recognition for its services as the 1995 Minority Service Firm, Memphis Business Journal 1999 Small Business of Year, 2000 Silver Star Achiever Award, 2003 Robert R. Church Minority Business of the Year Award and 2003 MLG&W Flame Award.  Mr. Windless gives credit for his success to God who has given him the gift to be mechanically incline, his parents, wife, pastor and customers who believe in A1.  He gives special thanks to his mentors and leaders for their empowerment through organizations like Leadership of Memphis, MMBC and the Black Business Association.
