New Model Transformation Creates
Opportunities For All MWBEs
The Mid-South Minority Business Council has adopted a new approch to minority economic development that will produce positive outcomes for our MWBE members, corporate members and the greater community.
This New Model Approach is focused on solutions, cost savings, strategic fits and alliances that impact minority economic growth .
The formula for the new model also suggests that diversity and inclusion correlate with corporate performance, meaning that corporations that institutionalize diversity and inclusion tend to have a stronger supplier diversity spend and more robust supplier programs.
To our current MWBEs your Specialist will be in touch with you to answer any questions that you may have and to assure you that you will continue to recieve quality service going forward. To our corporate partners we will be in touch with you to better understand your needs in order to create strategic fits that provide solutions that impact your bottom line.
We look forward to working with all of our members to grow successful businesses.

Welcome to the Mid-South Minority Business
Council’s (MMBC) Website.
MMBC is a not-for-profit organization that
prides itself in the job that it does in bringing Minority and
Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) together with the
Mid-South’s largest Corporations. If you are a M/WBE firm
seeking to connect with larger corporations or if you are a large
Corporation seeking to improve your supplier program with M/WBEs then
you’ve come to the right website. We invite you to become a
member. If you are a M/WBE firm MMBC can help you to grow
your revenues, train your workforce, form Joint Ventures,
partner with majority CEOs, become UCA certified and share best
practices among other things. As a large Corporation MMBC
can help you to access M/WBEs by industry, distribute and
communicate your RFPs and RFQs, assist in formulating a written
supplier diversity policy and program, form Joint Ventures with
M/WBEs, formulate second tier M/WBE programs with your major
national vendors and assist you in developing M/WBEs through
your own developmental /incubator process.
MMBC prides itself as the premier minority
economic development organization in the mid-south. Please
explore our website to learn more about how we can assist
you. Your membership in our organization is very important
to us. I speak on behalf of myself, the Board of Directors and
Staff of the Mid-South Minority Business Council (MMBC) and The Uniform
Certification Agency (UCA) in welcoming you to our website. |
